An article on beer spa’s recently reported on the popularity of this practise in Europe. People go to these spas to soak their skin in dark lager due to it’s reputed therapeutic benefits for the skin. Yeast and vitamins leave the skin soft and supple with a healthy glow.
Nothing to do with those pints of Czech lager consumed while partaking though…..
2. It will save that bad hair day

You may have used the salt method before but if you have leftover beer hanging around, this can prove just as effective.
Pour some beer into a fairly shallow container and leave outside in the path of your pesky slug nemesis. Slugs and snails are attracted to the sweet smell, climb over the sides to have a sip, and are unable to get back out again.
Mwah ha ha ha.
4. It will treat brown spots on the lawn
Beer contains fermented sugars, which will help the grass to regain strength, colour and growth and also a lot of water. It neutralises nitrogen found in pet urine - which may well be the cause of your brown spots - and kills off fungi, resulting in a healthy, plush lawn. Just pour a generous amount of beer over brown lawn spots to rejuvenate.

Beer is rich in silicon that increases calcium deposits and minerals for bone tissue. So beer makes you stronger… sort of.
7. It can cure insomnia.
Hops is the plant that is best known as an ingredient in beer however, like valerian, hops also been used for hundreds of years as an herbal medicine to treat sleep problems as well as anxiety, irritability, excitability, and restlessness. We’re not sure it’s the hops that helps us sleep….
